A devoted mum who has had multiple liver transplants gave thanks to donors yesterday who made it possible for her to have a family.
Sonja Donoghue, 39, from Erskine, has had her life saved four times by separate liver transplants and knows more than most just how important the NHS Organ Donor Register can be.
She first suffered acute liver failure nearly 20 years ago and this was followed by a series of infections and rejections that unfortunately led to her having to have three further transplants.
But, following her last transplant in 2007, Sonja?s health has been continually improving and she is enjoying living life to the full.
