The great Statin adventure is over for me. Yesterday's liver blood test saw my liver enzymes normalised. GP now agrees the elevation was as a result of the Statin. Next step, is to try Ezitimbe but without the Statin and see what that does.
However, I will wait until my next diabetes review in a few months time before I go down the Ezitimbe route. The numerous urgent blood tests, time off work for them and waiting for results takes its toll. I want a break from it.
