[hSIZE="7"][/SIZE]Hi. I have just registered. I was Diaganosed with Type2 Diabetes in April 1999 when I was 43 years old. I am having problems with my Blood Sugar Level. I was 11.1 last night, then this morning I was 32.2. Why was there such a high jump overnight  Can anyone please let me know.

Oh dear, sounds like you are having a tough time at the moment. Do you have a cold or anything? That can cause rises in BG.

What medication are you on? If this happens regularly I'd speak to your GP as maybe you could change medication and something else is better for you. I hope you can get it sorted.

Hi LittleMo, welcome to the forum! 🙂 32.2 sounds like a big jump overnight, if it happens again then I'd suggest that you call NHS Direct. Are you on any medication? If so, it may be time to get it reviewed - make an appointment to see your doctor as soon as you can. You have recognised that things seem to be getting worse, so you need to take action now to try and get those numbers down. It may be that you are coming down with a cold or something which could cause a big rise.

Stick with us and we'll help you all we can to get those numbers down! 🙂

If you have not already done so, contact a health professional immediately. 32.2 is not a good number.
