My DN said that you can still get a hypo or similar even if you don't take tablets or insulin, which surprised me. Anyway today just before lunch I started feeling weak and hot and a little faint. I checked my BG and it was 4.6. This is the lowest I have been. I just had 2 weetabix at about 9 a.m. and nothing since then. This happened at 12 noon. Could it have been caused by being 4.6.

4.6 is a normal reading, however if you are recently diagnosed and have been running high for a while then your body may have sent out some signals to let you know something is not normal...............but your perfectly safe at that level if not on medication.........

A hypo is just low blood sugar so yes it is possible, the problems come when our bodies cannot help themselves get it back up...
