Pretty much ditto Gail 🙂
I'm very lucky that I don't need a team to support my mental health, but I am lucky that I work with Mental Health nurses who are wonderful and do a magnificent job. I support them with the admin because they are fantastic at what they do, but they aren't very IT savvy, so I keep them on the straight and narrow with technology 😉

... and Mental Health nurses get paid a fraction of what Psychiatrists get paid!

I'm glad things are falling into place for you Gail <3

Awww thanks for sharing your lovely positive post @gail2 <3

That´s a great post, Gail.

It is easy to focus on what we don´t have or what could be better, and I don´t say we have to ignore those things. But it´s also important to remember the good.

I have a family that loves and supports me, even from the distance.

I have a healthy body, aside from the wonky pancreas. I have legs that take me places and eyes that allow me to enjoy the landscape and read good stories.

I have insulin and a super useful Libre, and unlike less fortunate people, I don´t have to pay for them.

I have a roof over my head and food on my table. And there is nice little cafes I can go to 🙂

I woke up this morning to hear the birds singing. So lovely after the recent freezing weather. My blessings are varied and many. A nice warm home shared with my husband who brings so much joy to my life.
Family and friends to share the ups and downs with and focus your thoughts outwards not inwards.
Good food and the promise of a bountiful harvest from our garden.
A fitter healthier me. Just started a new exercise class with a lovely group of ladies, some from my Tai Chi class.
Apart from the diabetes, my general health is good and I feel and look so much better than this time last year.
And last but definitely not least, all you great people on this forum who have given me so much help and support, along with a fair few giggles along the way. You are my inspiration to manage my diabetes successfully and live my life to the full.
