I can remember asking the DSN when I was on my diabetes education course, 'What happens to people in developing countries, who don't have free access to medication and supplies like us?' She replied, 'They die' :(

We can help by sending unused supplies to the IDDT:

Although the IDF seem to accept donations of supplies I can't find out how in the UK, so not sure if the IDDT is a member organisation. The bottom line though is that the donations will be very welcome and go to help those in need. 🙂

I am also looking into ways that perhaps the forum as a whole could help the Life for a Child programme 🙂
