Ive got the app but im finding im using ludl less and less simply cos theydont have enough healthy options

The card gives you discounts and freebies the more you shop with them

I think the Lidl loyalty system is only available as an app. I had it for a while about 3-4 years ago and didn't find it useful at all so stopped using it, however I have been giving it a go again the last year and I do feel I have benefitted a bit this time but also been caught out a couple of times with it which rankled me a bit. For instance I have had a free voucher for fresh fruit and decided to use it on a punnet of raspberries which are quite expensive, but also bought an avocado which was on offer and considerably cheaper than the raspberries and the avocado (also being a fruit of course) went through as the free item of fresh fruit and I had payed full price for the rasps. Of course I didn't realise until I was checking my bill later that I saw what had happened and technically avocado is a fruit, so can't really complain. The voucher comes up on the app showing a punnet of grapes or blueberries so you assume those are the sort of fruits it is referring to. I wonder if I had bought a cucumber or tomatoes or an aubergine, if they would also be classed as fruit.
What I am saying is that you have to be a bit switched on with them sometimes.

thanks peeps am thinking about it have smartphone so may go for it

You don't have a real card, just download the app. Then you have to remember to activate the coupons before you shop, which I usually forget to do. I only buy a few specific things from Lidl so it's not that useful for me.

I don't shop at all at Lidl since they discontinued the Rolls they sold the seemed to be blood sugar friendly.

I buy their Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, Gouda slices and salami, that's about it.
I love their full fat Greek yogurt and it's much cheaper than anywhere else, so I go every couple of weeks to stock up.

I do most of my shopping at Lidl, using my ipad to work the app. It is a bit pushy, in that the time intervals are quite short - so I have missed deadlines on quite a number of offers, but it saves a few pounds every time I shop.
When the weather is better I will save more as I will not be put off going along there by the cold and wet.
I use my mobility scooter for shopping - the traffic is dreadful along the main road here, but they don't like getting wet - the previous one broke due to corrosion on the circuit board due to being taken out on wet pavements.
The Tesco rewards are good - perhaps better for the things I buy, but it is further away.

We use Lidl fairly regularly and I have the app. Whilst many of the vouchers don't go with our style of eating, there are some excellent discounts and vouchers on there.

At the beginning of the year I was sent a message telling me how much we had saved over 2024. It was a surprisingly large amount.

The scheme wouldn't make me shop there. We just happen to do so.

The app seems to follow purchasing history and gives coupons for things bought previously.

ive got the app used it a lot to begin with but not so much recently, they do have some good offers though from time to time

Hubby recently installed the app on his phone. Saved a whole £6 off our last bill. Didn't take the free cake on offer. Both trying to be good :D

The only loyalty card I have is a Nectar and I've had it for years. The points don't accumulate very quickly but they do add up over time, Sainsbury's do some quite good reductions for Nectar card holders. There's a Lidl very close to my local big Sainsbury's, in the same shopping centre, but they don't stock much of what I want so I've given up on them. There's also a Waitrose just 5 minutes away so I can selectively shop at any of them.
