Bought myself one the other day; used it for the first time yesterday. 🙂 I'ts quite good (the "750g" setting is good for making up 500g bread mixes, which when water and oil/butter are added come to about 800g). Only thing is, I don't know why the default weight setting is 1250g, when as I just said bread mixes sold in shops are more suited to the 750g setting.

Sainsbury's Multiseed Bread Mix (done on programme 3, "wholemeal") was delicious, especially that first slice eaten while it was still warm. 😉

Lol Robert, the reason the setting is 1250 is due there still being proper cooks about who start from scratch and make their own mix. :D

Bread Machine

Hi
Somehow getting my hands in to the mix and kneading it is so soothing --- I tried a bread machine for a while and gave up on it, the therapy of bread making is great. However home made bread in any form is just great,
Try spelt flour and put a hand full of nuts in it ---- I tried with scrape of honey the other day,, lovely,
