Yesterday for lunch I had a tomato cupasoup and 2 Lidl High Protein rolls
BG reading before was 6.4 1hr after 8.5 - 2 hrs after 8.3

Today the same but 4 slices of Bergan bread
BG reading before was slightly higher at 10.5 1hr after 13.8 - 2 hrs after 15.8

Is this a good test or rubbish

I don't know Wayne, but I would be worried if I went into double figures.

There's quite a contrast in the amount of carbs you have eaten there Wayne - 4 slices of Burgen bread is around 50g carbs as opposed to around 20g for the Lidl rolls, plus the soup in each case. As a result it's not really unexpected that the second day was higher than the first. The information you should take for it is that the Lidl rolls are better for you than 4 slices of Burgen, although you might not be so bad if you only had two slices of Burgen, as the carb amounts would then be similar 🙂

I find the Lidl rolls very filling. How did you manage to eat two? 😱

I was wondering how you managed two Lidl rolls as well. Didn't your jaws ache afterwards?
