Hi everyone.

my 13yo son is on his second libre2 sensor, and me and his dad are both using the librelinkup app. all the data comes through to me fine, but anything on the high side doesn‘t register in my other half’s logbook. He’s an iPhone 6 and the iOS is up to date, 14.something. Mine is newer. Abbot told him that it didn’t work with iPhone 6, and we surprised he was getting anything at all. The App Store says it works with anything running iOS 11 or later...

I know the librelink app itself won’t work with older phones, but I think that is to do with the near-field communication?

abbot then told him to delete and reinstall the sensor app, which hasn’t solved the problem and has lost my sons access to his history on his phone...

has anyone got any ideas?

also does anyone know how to change the child’s email address on the account?

I’ve not needed the LibreLinkUp app, but it does sound like a compatibility issue with your husband’s phone. If his phone is running iOS 11 or higher, the app will install, but I guess Abbott wouldn’t have tested and fixed any issues on iphone 6 implementations, because iphone 7 is the oldest that is compatible with Libre from an NFC perspective?

I think you would need to contact Abbott about the email change. That doesn’t seem to be something I can update in Libreview. Though there are web pages that claim it’s possible, the options aren’t showing on my phone.

In Libreview, click the horizontal lines top right, select Account Settings, then Profile. Option to change email address is given under Account information/Login information. Hope this helps.
