Just seen this post on FB group “UK Users | Freestyle Libre“, sounds like the LibreLink app is getting an update to give the same sort of functionality as Shuggah.
BIG NEWS!
There will soon be an update to the FreeStyle LibreLink app, which means that FreeStyle Libre 2 system users in the UK will receive minute-by-minute glucose readings automatically on their phone, without the need to scan.
The app update will be pushed to users in stages during the week commencing 12th July. When they complete their next sensor change they will be using a rtCGM. One scan is needed to pair the sensor to the app, then real time readings will be automatically sent to the app, every minute for the duration of the 14 day wear period. The users will receive clear communication on this exciting update via e mail and in-app messaging.
There is no change for patients who use the reader.
