Just had Email about this new feature from Abbot. Let the medical pros know what your bgs have been 24hrs a day. 😎 My Medtronic pump has done this for years now but Tech is getting better.😉

How often do the medical pros get the data?

I prefer the desktop application anyway.

I'm with you Northie! They would have a fit if they saw my data as libre always reads lower than finger prick so it looks like I'm having far more hypos than I actually do.

Same here. So nope I’m not sharing my data with her.

I suspect the HCps won’t have time to look at our data that often. I do send them my data when I want some advice and before an appointment. The rest of the time I just get on with it.

They can keep their hands off my data! They couldn't tell me anything I don't already know, but would probably take it as an opportunity to start whingeing about things that don't comply with their textbooks 🙄
So if you had "little Tommy" to look after would that not make a big difference ? 😉

I would if I had a child to look after. Fortunately my 2 kids are big kids now without diabetes. 🙂. Its always at the back of my mind

I don’t have the desktop application, and don’t intend to get it. It’s serving the same purpose, data mining.

Everybody wants data. Android phone users might think that turning off roaming and apps that follow you around (like weather apps) will hide you, but for the past 11 months Google have been using a program that logs the local transmitter that your phone logs on to automatically, so they can track where you wander. They have been told to stop it, and they promise they will. Then the techies will find some other way of doing it...
