I ordered some Libre sensors in response to the prize draw, but when the arrived they were all use by the end of March, which would not be possible. Abbott were fine when I phoned and agreed to refund, saying that they have had a problem which they are trying to resolve.

If you have ordered some recently do check the date on them.
 
They do seem to have a bit of an odd stocking system - the last batch I ordered were all use by end of March, the ones I ordered before that were end of May, so we're having to use the new ones up before the old ones! Fortunately I only order 4 at a time so it should be possible, but it's not the first time that has happened!
 
That doesn't sound good 😱 What is the longest expiry date anyone has seen? If I'm going to plump for one I might only want to use the sensors sporadically.
 
Considering lots of people on various sites think they are the bees knees that is very bad.
 
That's not good. The ones I received the other day expire the end of April, I should just about get through them.
Sounds like they are not rotating their stock properly.
 
I shall stick to ordering four at a time, and wait a little later in future. They are aware of the problem and sorting it. At least they always sort any problems that arise.
 
My last ones ( ordered a couple of weeks ago) were use by end of May, which surprised me, because I'm sure there used to be at least 6 months if not longer on them. I seem to remember somebody commenting ( a few months ago) that they'd tried to order a years worth and been told they couldn't because Abbot couldn't guarantee the use by dates. So they do seem to have a problem at the moment,
 
The first few I got were at least 6 months (I haven't had that many anyway). I only order a couple at a time but I've just checked and the more recent ones were down to 4 months. Still fine for me but even if I had the cash I wouldn't be ordering loads of them.
 
In case your thinking of ordering more , I've just received some sensors, the use by date is still 30th June.

Oh, I got some more a couple of weeks ago, which are all 31st August!
