Hi all, hope you are doing great.
I'm changing to libre 2 sensor Monday when my libre 1 runs out. My libre 1 is connected to phone & my hosp Drs can read my results daily.
When i change to libre 2, is it just a case of putting it in arm & it will automatically connect to phone or will i need to download another app & create a new account etc.
I know i sound dull but I'm not really tech savvy.
Many thanks.

@Sugarcoated you should be able to use the same LibreLink app with the same account on your phone.
Ypu will get some new features in terms of alerts if you go high or low. Take a look at the videos on the freestyle Libre website for instructions to set these up.

Yes the latest app works with either Libre 2 or Libre 1.

If you are interested in using the alarm function to be alerted when your BG is above or below a certain point, bear in mind that the alarms only work on the device which started the sensor (if you sometimes also use the Freestyle Libre Reader).

Oh - and you cannot use your 'old' Libre Reader on the Libre 2 sensors, but if you want one, you can order the new one free, on the Libre website.
