Just wondering if anyone has had an Infection from there libre sensor

Never. Have you seen someone to treat your infection?
 
Yip on antibiotics reason I was asking is there is a hole in the middle of the sensor and I was wondering if anything could get in through it or if anyone knows what the hole is for

The hole is where the ‘needle’ in the applicator goes to shoot the filament into your arm.

You could cover it after application with a bit of surgical tape I suppose.

The hole is there to allow the skin under the sensor to breathe, and to allow any moisture to escape. Abbott advise users not to cover it.

In the early years of Libre some people developed a sensitivity to the adhesive that was used. Some used a barrier cream like ‘cavilon’ to try to help, or fired the sensor through a surgical dressing like Opsite with a little hole cut in it.
 
Thanks just kinda worried it happens again. Think it happened at work by that I mean the types of materials we use are really fine airborne and might have got in through the hole. Had the sensor on for 10 days no issues until the day it happened had a bit of a dig out so was in contact with more materials than usual
