Yes, a bunch of people have reported the same.

I note that the latest update to Juggluco (another Android app for Libre) warns against updating to Android 13 (the claim is that Bluetooth LE support is broken somehow).

Though I think the story from Abbott is that there's some problem in the latest Libre Link which they're working on.

(I think iPhone users have also complained, but I'm afraid I don't remember what the problems were with those.)

I’ve had the same problem @Dlc - like many others. After complaining to Abbott and trying everything they suggested, my phone was still telling me “alarms unavailable”. I asked Abbott for a Libre 2 reader. I now use the reader and the alarms work fine (on the reader, not on my phone). I still scan with my phone - I get readings but no alarms - so that my LibreLink info is up-to-date for my DSN.

Thanks everyone I'm gonna try and do the same and get a reader there not going to like it but no other choice I've done everything possible !

I messed about with my phone for ages last night and I actually got Alarms..but this morning no Signal grrrrrrrr ! Thanks Everyone

Had issues on last two sensors. Alarms unavailable please scan sensor. Scan using phone android Samsung S20
spoke to Abbotts Libre who came up with a fix.
Go to setting on your phone
scroll down and click on Apps
scroll down to find LibreLink app and click on it.
Scroll to storage and click on it.
At bottom right hand corner of this page you have the option to Clear cache.
Clear cache.
Return to home screen of your phone and switch off phone, power down.
Leave phone for 2-3 minutes and power back up, switch back on.
Leave phone for another 2-3 minutes to fully start up and apps load and run in the background.
Scan sensor again at least twice over a couple of minutes.
This rebooted my Libreview app and I have notifications of various alarms again
Will update everyone to make sure it has been a success over the life of this sensor. 10 days to go

Sorry to hear you’ve been having a rough time with the Libre software update. It certainly seems to be causing havoc :(

I find I too have this problem when my phones power drops below about 80% Seems keeping my phone charged seems to help with this problem. Maybe something to do with Bluetooth Power settings though not very Au Fait with Android so I'm not going to change any settings.

That's rather odd. 80% seems way too high for it to start worrying about power.

On mine, searching for Battery in Settings quickly reveals some Battery Saving options, but the cutoff is 40% rather than 80%. And what it'll do then is mostly switching to dark mode, by the looks of it (though there's an extreme option that may well do more stuff). Details like that are probably things that'll vary quite a bit between phones (mine's a Pixel 6a, with an OLED display so dark mode is a significant battery saving).
