Libre in an MRI

My Guardian transmitter needs to come out during an MRI.
Is it possible to keep a Libre in during an MRI?

You need to ask. I imagine it matters what is being scanned by the MRI. You arms are usually folded up out of the way.

Leave it until you get there, if they say yes you can rip it off, if they say it's OK then you've save one!

When I've had an MRI all metal had to go, so it makes sense to plan on having to lose the Libre. But it also makes sense to ask to see whether it's safe on that occasion.

No. I had to remove libre for my brain MRI and it was specifically listed on the sheet you sign to agree that you’d removed any glucose sensors.

An MRI creates magnetic fields which in themselves can damage electronics.
It can also cause damage to the patient by pulling metals towards the magnetic coils.

No you can not have sensors in the room of the scanner.

The same principle as an induction hob.
That could be unpleasant as well!

I think it’s the battery in the Libre which means it has to go.
