Libre failure

Our libre freestyle has stopped working with my iPhone. We contacted libre but they didn't give a clear response to fixing it

Hi @Dicmaule. Which model iPhone do you have? Older iPhones have been reported to have an issue. Do you have the latest version of the app running on the phone?
Do you have the reader which you could use ?

A little more information of the actual problem may be of benefit

Is it that your iPhone is no longer scanning the sensor?
Is it that the sensor ended prematurely?
Or was it something else?

The reader works ok. It's a iPhone SE

When the iPhone SE first appeared it was mutton dressed as lamb. The NFC system, which is what is used to read the Libre sensor, did exist on the SE but it it was locked into the Apple Pay system. Apple has relented and fixed this, so all iPhones after 5 should work with Libre sensors, but it depends on whether you are running an up to date iOS. If you aren’t, then updating the phone might help. Remember, the SE is now a five year old design, (almost prehistoric in phone terms) but it should be able to cope with the latest iOS.

Go into Settings and click on Software update. Should be iOS 14.7.1. If it isn’t, or won’t update, you need a new phone.

I have an iPhone SE Just over 2 years old I have iso 14.7.1 and the app is still not reading the sensor it was working fine before the last two iso updates iso13 etc, so I see the problem with the app not being updated. All my other apps work fine. I have installed the app to an old iPhone 7 on iso 13.4.1 and it is working.!!!!
