Interesting. I haven't had any problems to date, currently on 6th sensor, but have heard others mention a reaction.

Abstract
BACKGROUND: Glucose sensors, such as FreeStyle® Libre, are innovative medical devices developed for diabetes patients as a replacement for classic glucose meters, ensuring continuous glucose monitoring without the disadvantage of regular skin finger pricks.

OBJECTIVES: To report several cases of allergic contact dermatitis caused by FreeStyle® Libre, and to report on isobornyl acrylate as a culprit allergen.

Same as Mike.

@mikeyB , and @Ljc - I'm a sensitive petal usually, when it comes to sticky things next to my skin, but I've always (to date!) been fine with the Libre.

Should you get unlucky, and some do develop such a sensitivity, even multiple sensors in, there are a number of things that can be tried; usually successfully, to overcome it.

I'm sure Dr Google would help with it, should the need occur.

Thanks @AndBreathe . It's handy to know that, though I hope I never need to seek it out.

No problems for me.

Never had a problem with Libre. The only sticky I've ever reacted to are the overtapes for Enlite sensors.
