Libre 2 can certainly be read by a mobile, android or ios. No knowledge of ticwatch. It needs the Librelink app, which then has the advantage of transferring all data by wi-fi to Libreview once a scan has been made - without having to connect a cable from the Reader to a PC.

I used just an android phone from Feb to May this year, scanning up to 40 times daily. This is frequently, but slightly incorrectly, called a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system; but is actually Flash glucose monitoring. If you want to use the Reader as well as your phone you must start the new sensor with the Reader first; but the alarms will only work on the Reader, not on both devices.

I then found there was another app called Diabox, which I use in parallel with Librelink and that provides true CGM. This uses Bluetooth (BT) to transfer data. Because the sensor gets confused between which BT to follow, it is essential to first deactivate BT for Librelink; otherwise both end up with apparent sensor failures. Diabox isn't on Playstore, Abbott complained about this and it got withdrawn. I found an installation 'apk' for android on Github. Diabox has extra alarms, which provide even better alerting to rising and falling levels. All alarms are optional, with different sounds and varying repeat durations. Diabox can be linked to certain Smartwatches, I haven't done this yet.

@spiritfree i would recommend xDrip but I remember you gave up with it after having some problems.
The thing is, if you want to manage your diabetes in a nonstandard way, you will need to adopt an approach which requires installing apps which may not be on playstore and do not come with detailed instructions.

No idea about ticwatch, never heard of one. Only ever use phone now with libre, handy as its never far away & less likely to go out without it, unlike reader.
