Does anyone know how to get the libre 2 plus adhesive off easily? I’ve tried soap, hot and cold water, nail polish remover, nothing seems to work!
Thank you all

Bio oil.

For the gummy (often grey/black) tide marks, @trophywench recommended simple Vaseline to me once upon a time.

I am having ongoing issues with Libre 2 sensor adhesive not strong enough to keep the sensor attached to the back of my upper arm ,especially when I am working in the garden and perspiring heavily, Abbott might claim they are water resistant but they can't compete with my sweat, and that's with an elasticated arm band in place !! Would I be right to assume that Libre 2 PLUS have better adhesive ?

I've tried both and noticed no diiference so used a Tegaderm film dressing which lasts the distance. Have same problem with Dexcom.

I use patches over the sensors to keep both Libre and Dexcom sensors in place. Libre a bit better than Dexcom. To remove the black tide marks I use ZOFF adhesive remover wipes from my pharmacy made by Smith & Nephew which are excellent.

as already suggested by others a dab of baby oil on a cotton wool swab, be sure to ensure prior to replacing the new sensor the site is free from any oil residue (if fitting new sensor to same site straight away)

I’ve previously purchased something called SkinTak adhesive wipes off Amazon
the wipe leaves an extra adhesive area of sticky, that you then apply the sensor to (in it’s normal way) although after ordering them I think I decided personally I didn’t need them, I’m unsure what I did with them, otherwise I was going to offer so send you a few @Wotisname
this link to SkinTac might work: https://amzn.eu/d/hTmieZJ

also, remember to report ANY failure, including if the sensor doesn’t remain stuck to your sweaty arm for the full 14/15 days to Abbott for a replacement

I use Lift Plus 360 Medical Adhesive Remover. It comes in small aerosol spray cannisters and works very well and leaves no residue.
