Hi my daughter has upgraded her iPhone from a 7 to Xs max . Previously she could scan Libre 2 on iPhone 7 but iPhone XS Max won’t scan. Help please

Can't give a proper answer as not using Libre at the present time, though it was working with a new iPhone SE. The iPhone XS is certainly on the list of compatible phones. It may be worth going to Settings to check Bluetooth is switched on. It wasn't by default when I took the phone out of the box. If the apps have been transferred from the iPhone 7, it may be worth checking you have version 2.5.3.3088 or later.

Was it this current sensor that she was using with the old phone? You can only scan with the phone you started the sensor. Had she still got old phone? If she transferred the app I'm not sure if it knows which phone it's using.

Not much help but might give you some ideas.

To be able to scan, you need NFC. Bluetooth is only needed for the alerts.
I am not an Apple user so don’t know if it comes on as default or not.

Just looked it up on the Developer page. One cannot switch it off. It is controlled by the app.
