can anyone help me?
Recently changed to Levemir and two basal injections a day instead of the 1 lantus in attempt to control night time hypos.
Last night I injected 10 units at 8pm. I tested throughout the night and my blood sugars were stable around 6-7, all night until 4:30am when they suddenly dropped to 2.3??? Have moved into Levemir to try and stop this.
Tonight I have injected 9 units, do I just keep adjusting and tweaking each night. I used to objected at 10pm before bed but have moved it to 8pm with my evening meal for convenience and the other with my breakfast.... what difference will this make?? Am I better off sticking to 10pm?
How do I know what I have the correct basal rate??
Confused but what to get this all sorted....
