Levels slowly creeping up

Since my diagnosis 7 months ago I haven't had an experience like this before, my levels are slowly starting to creep up especially going up to 14-17 in the evenings, I've only had 2 hypos in the past 10 or so days which is not normal for me. I've increased my basal dose but has only really made a minor difference
Is this normal? I'm not sure. Words of wisdom from those who have more experience than me would be appreciated

Perhaps it’s your own insulin production decreasing @chazthompson or maybe it’s hormones/growth? Have you changed your insulins just to make sure they haven’t degraded and become less effective? Could you be Iill? I had a cold recently that put my levels up?Have you done a recent basal test?

What insulins do you take?

Can you tell us a bit about your Bolus insulin. Do you carb count it for the amount of carbs in each meal?
