Hi, I used to have the most superb control but after a brief stay in hospital my levels now just continually rise all of the time and require constant ccorrection.

I was placed on a sliding scale and starved for a couple of days.

My levels have never recovered and just keep on rising all of the time without any carb intake whatsoever !

I can only assume am metabolising my own body fat...

What should I do?

Hi Simes, welcome to the forum 🙂 What does your doctor or DSN advise? Have you been diagnosed long? Difficult knowing where the problem may lie without a bit more information - what insulin regime are you on and what sort of levels are you now experiencing compared to before the hospital stay? Were you put on any new drugs?
