Just spoken to my GP practice regarding these letters for the most vulnerable and have been told that people should receive them by the 13th of April and if you haven't had one and should be on the list or think you should be then contact your GP practice for it to be looked into.

Thanks Sue!

Made me smile Mike, thanks 🙂

Mum got her 12 week lock-down letter today. 🙂

Hi,

I thought diabetics aren’t getting these letters as we are not in the most vulnerable category. Unless we also had one of the other listed contains that is. Have I misunderstood something?

thanks!

Blimey nearly a fortnight since Pete had his, today he had a letter from Matt Hancock and someone else (housing Minister) signed off 'Yours ever' - which I thought was a bit, Erm? Besides which he won't be and can't be by definition cos he's a ruddy politician!

Correct, Diabetes alone doesn’t trigger a letter, only if you have other conditions that are on the list.

No you haven't misunderstood at all.

No that’s correct, diabetes alone doesn’t put you in the most vulnerable category, but some people with diabetes have other complicating factors (eg have received a transplant) and so are due to have a letter.

Edit: Ha! Everyone posted at once :D
