Welcome Daista / David - not into clubbing, but recently in south Wales for end of Dragon's Back Race, which was great experience - part of my "career".

Hi David, welcome to the forum 🙂 How have things been with your diabetes? What insulin regime are you on? It sounds like you are not one to let it stop you from enjoying yourself! 🙂 If you have any questions, please ask away!

I imagine things will improve a lot when you get carb counting - it's very rare that my meals all need the same amount of novorapid, so I'd either be having hypos or going high on fixed doses. Good to hear you're getting a 1 to 1 course 🙂

Welcome to the forum David. I spent my early years in South Wales (age 1 - 28) so I'm almost Welsh (my family still live there so I go back when I can). You've come to a great place for help and advice or even just for a laugh or a moan!

Any questions, ask away, someone will usually have an answer 🙂

Hello Daista

Another welcome 🙂

Hi David. Welcome.

It sounds like you're on a bit of a stopgap regime, so hope the dietician can help you out with carb counting and adjusting your doses.

I'm in North Wales but sadly I'm not native.

Croeso. :D
