So with the hot weather my body decided to develop gastritis and being on insulin I ended in hospital with dka as didn’t keep food down for several days. I did make a nuisance at the Drs and then A&E and was told anxiety… glad I made extra fuss and got admitted as went into dka on day four.
Lesson learnt when things don’t feel right with us that we need to fuss, definitely learnt the hard way, still in now as my pancreas joined the party when the hypos started despite the Drs stopping my insulin .
Hope everyone else is fairing better in the heat.
