Now into week 5 of my swimming lessons and and have gone from 2 arm-discs to 1 and tonight I didn't use any; just used a large tube of foam to keep me afloat.....this learning to swim is such fun...love it...just wish I'd done it years ago....

A great way to lose weight and tone up....🙂

Great to hear you are enjoying it so much - and progressing so well! 🙂 Presumably you are among other 'first timers' - are you the star pupil? Bet you are! 😉

Sounds as though you are having great fun 🙂

It really helped to relieve the stress; had a long day at work today; travel home was terrible and wasn't really in the mood:( tired and the weather is dark and gloomy...but just 30mins with a great bunch of girls and a very charming man and all my stresses faded away.....😉

Water was freezing though.....😱

It doesn't take place in one of those Birmingham canals does it? 😱 😉

wouldn't be able to swim in a Birmingham canal ...full of shopping trolleys...:D the water this week was colder than last - dreading next week; at least it gives a real boost to the system..😱

No armbands eh, next week will be with the flippers on and 10 lengths.

Well done and so nice you enjoy it so much. Interesting comment about coming home from work etc and not wanting to go out, but when the effort is made, it was worth it. That is so true about life, even though we get kick backs, just keep at it and we get nearer our aspirations.
