The family of a 14-year-old Buffalo-area girl claims her diabetes is linked to high-fructose corn syrup in a lawsuit seeking $5 million in damages.

The Buffalo News reports that the family this week sued six manufacturers of high-fructose corn syrup in U.S. District Court in Buffalo. The suit claims the girl was never warned about the risks of the common ingredient.

Hmm...good luck with that! 🙄

Nothing would surprise me - anything that happens, there must be someone to sue for it!

Diagnosed T2 at the age of 12.

Well I expect she could reasonably sue her parents, but they won't have as much cash as the fructose syrup manufacturers - always go after the deepest pockets!

This is the land where the microwave maker got sued because they didn't put a warning on the machine not to dry your cat in it😱
