Hi emmerdale - you have done brilliantly well!🙂 I hope you don't mind, but reading through your previous posts, you have managed to reduce your fasting readings really well - congratualations! This is an area I struggle with. Do you think this is due to your medication or have you found something that has worked well for you? I'd appreciate any ideas.🙂 Katie

Fasting Results

Hi KatieB Im so very pleased with myself i was on 1 x 500 SR Metformin and a statin I had been on that X Pert course at my health centre then went on holiday to Dersingham (Norfolk) and i seemed to wake up to what could be happening to me i have been type 2 for just short of 2 years and can only think that i must have been in denial so towards the end of May of this year I made my own decision and reduced my carbs drastically and started walking after every meal(between 1 and 2 miles 3 times a day)and it seemed unreal how the weight came of BP dropped and my testing results started falling to where i am at now Pasta, Rice, Potatoes , Pastry, Biscuits etc all banished and how much better i feel for it.Maybe its against NICE guidelines but it has worked for me , no metformin now DN stopped it after the results,it does take willpower, stick to your chosen path it should work Good Luck:D:D
