Had my blood tests yesterday morning and my results are online already.
My latest hba1c is 58, down from 65 at the beginning of the year.
Overall cholesterol is still at 2.6.
Happy that my hba1c is down, but still some work to do.

Congratulations on your results! That’s a great improvement in a1c, and cholesterol is really low too, do you take statins for that? I’m not sure I’ve heard of it going that low that often.

Great news @Stitch147, deffo going in the right direction. Well done! Agree your cholesterol is amazing, I wish mine was that low! x

My Dr recommended statins to me 18 months ago, even though overall cholesterol was 4.6, its never been over 5. I started taking them with no side effects.

Fab results @Stitch147

A terrific A1c reduction, and great to hear that the statins are treating you well.

Hurrah!

Congrats on Hba1c and that cholestrol

Great results @Stitch147.
Have you worked out which hair colour is best for low levels? 🙄
Not yet. Might try yellow and green next to see the impact that will have.

Hi. I think that total cholesterol level my be too low? Your body needs cholesterol for repair etc and if you are on statins and the dose is on the high side I would review that with the GP. Low cholesterol can be as bad for health as high cholesterol. Check your various lipids ratios and discuss with the GP.
