My pre-Dafne baseline hba1c was taken yesterday, I do the course 10-14th September.

My dsn emailed me today with my result...

6.8 !

I had been dreading it a bit as its the first proper one just on insulin and I really wasn't sure how it would be...unsure how well I was managing things overall!

I'd still like to get I below 6.5 ideally but chuffed to be in the 6% club! :D

Congratulations, that's great. I think my last one was 7.1 so still hoping to get in to the 6% club. I got my DAFNE next week.

That's a fantastic result. Well done

Well done 🙂

Congratulations! Hope DAFNE helps you shave a few decimal places off (or keep the number but reduce hypos/spread of results) 🙂

Out of interest how many hypos a week do most people on here have? I am very cautious about them, due to the fact I've two young children in my sole care a lot, but obviously am caught out by some as I think everyone on insulin is!

How much rarer are they when on a pump?

Fab result! Well done 🙂
