Well, this was my first test following my 10 year diaversary (which was in October).

Managed to scrape a 50mmol/mol (or 6.7% in old money).

Pretty happy with that given that my weight is still way too high (went up since last review), my exercise levels have gone to pot and my diet is probably 50% as good as it should be!

Next review will be in May 2020. Fingers crossed I can get my mojo back by then.

Andy 🙂

Good job Andy 🙂

Good stuff AHB. Are you planning a new year rejig or happy to keep going as you are?

Great result @Andy HB, but don't let your standards slip too far! 😱 You're getting to an age where it gets harder to shift (believe me, I know! 😱 😉 )

Good result for HBA1c. just make a few small changes in the new year and you'll be surprised how it will hell with the weight. But well done

I have re-started my daily walks already. The wife gave me an ultimatum .... "Get walking or I won't talk to you any more" .... It was touch and go there for a second! 🙂

Four days for my 1hr, roughly 6km walk, on the trot now. One of which was in continuous rain so I must have some will power there.

Diet-wise, well, I will see how that goes. Just need to keep off the odd few biscuits or multiple mince pies and I may make some progress. The main meals in themselves haven't been too bad.

I was thinking about that just the other day. It'll be interesting to see whether a 10 year older Andy can keep the pace up of a 10 year younger Andy. At the moment, I think that I can! 🙂

Thanks! 🙂 Got started already though. I don't want to wait. I'm looking forward to getting back in to all those nice troosers in my drawer that don't fit me at the moment.

I like your wife's thinking - by getting you to go out for a walk, you get the exercise you need - AND she doesn't have to talk to you!
