Had my annual appointment with the consultant today and without me asking he suggested me moving over to the Omnipod 5 (from the dash). I’m very excited! Will find out soon how long the wait is but I’m happy to be patient.

Does anyone have any experience with how the Omnipod 5 deals with different phases of you menstrual cycle? I have 4 different basal profiles that I currently run and I just wonder how the Omnipod 5 deals with this fluctuation of insulin resistance/ sensitivity?

Great news for you @100cas, and hopefully the wait isn't too long. It'll be handy to let us know how long the wait is since @JamesB_ has been told his wait is around 2 years.

Not sure who might have experience in how the Omnipod 5 deals with different phases of menstrual cycles but thought it might be worth tagging @PhoebeC who might be able to comment.

Sure Phoebe is still using Dash though might be wrong.

Omnipod 5 user myself but male so no experience @100cas , you can switch pump to manual mode not sure if you know this, best peeps to answer your question would be a dsn or pump rep.
