Forth Valley has been given a clean bill of health for the way it handles ?adverse events? affecting patients, staff and visitors.
All health authorities in Scotland were reviewed following revelations that one had withheld reports about incidents, including those involving patient deaths.
The inspections were ordered by then Cabinet Secretary for Health, Nicola Sturgeon, after an in-depth review of NHS Ayrshire and Arran came up with a list of recommendations to ensure serious incidents were properly managed and to reduce the risk of them re-occurring.
