The showpiece Forth Valley Royal Hospital has been given its annual ?health check? by bosses.
Alex Linkston, chairman of NHS Forth Valley, invited health secretary Alex Neil to tour the ?300 million facility in Larbert then host a question and answer session with the public and local patient care groups as part of the review.
They visited the award-winning women and children?s unit where a ?buddying system? designed to improve the monitoring of babies during labour by electronically recording the heartbeat is in use.
