I am on these tablets to avoid my Acid Reflux. The only ptoblem is that, as it reduces the acid my stomach makes,it slows my digestion down and this affecrs my BG levels. I have had to stop eating very fibre rich carbs.

Does anyone have the sameproblem ?

No, but then again I take Creon as well.

Well, yeah, it does slow my digestion down a bit it's true but so much better than instant heartburn as soon as my head touches the pillow and acid reflux when my body just decides to do that. PITA having to leave it a full hour after taking it, before I swallow anything more even my Levothyroxine, which then take another half hour on top, before I can take the other 4 daily tablets - one of which is Clopidogrel, the main flippin culprit of the acid. If it ain't one thing, it's another.

I just almost always, have split boluses for lunch and dinner and it seems to help a bit. As a pumper they're either extended or multi wave, but @Merryterry isn't.

Meds always seem to need to be finely balanced don’t they (or their effects offset by a different med!) :(

Been on this drug for last 20 years, just 15mg daily dose but not had any issues so far.

I'll often wake for the loo at anything from 5am which is far far too early for me to arise, so providing it crosses my mind I'll walk into the kitchen after the bathroom, swig the capsule down with a gulp of flavoured fizzy water out of the fridge door, and return to my comfy bed for at least another hour. I deliberately don't try to think about anything else whatever, else it's a certain fact I'll not get another minute's sleep.
