Happy Days........:D

Yes, always a relief to see that :D But I still should get off my bum and not sit here all day..... Off to empty dishwasher for a second time today...

Used to be really bad and only change lancets when it begain hurting to test, but since about May I have been changing lancest weekly

Thanks for all your replies.

When i saw my DSN for a check yesterday she said the same as
RHepton - Was told to change mine every time
&
SweetGuy - The official line from DSN is use a fresh one everytime

I've sometimes left the changing of my lancets until my fingers hurt but going off what my DSN said yesterday & also going off some replies here i'm going to TRY & get into the habit of changing them each day or certainly every other day....we'll see

I change mine when I struggle to get blood........ usually once a month or so

I also change if ive tested someone else and Ive tested my eldest son on a cpl of occassions.

I'm Type 1 and was told to use a new lancet every time I prick my fingers (4 times a day). Sometimes, however, when I haven't been able to draw a sufficient amount of blood, I've used the same one again on a different finger and on a higher number setting to try and get blood out.
