Is anybody else on these my doc has just prescribed Bezalip 400mg for my cholestral but im worried because it contains lactose and this may affect my levels

Hi Linda,
unless the tablets are horse size then I doubt very much the miniscule amount of lactose would affect your levels. 🙂
 
I take them and have had no problems.🙂
 
Unless you have particular problems with lactose, i doubt you'll notice. Lactose is basically the white stuff in your tablet or capsule and it bulks out the ammount of drug you have to swallow. It's found in most if not all tablets and most capsules.
