Hello everyone put on the forum about my wife being prediabetic last week bit cheesed off now doctor phoned my wife last week to confirm she has type 2 diabetes gone on to medication to help her in the course of the conversation doctor told wife surgery had been worried about her blood sugars since 2014 but hadn't told her about these fears till last week not sure what to do could complain but is worth going down that road main item is if told earlier might have stopped this happening any thoughts anyone thanks

I would definitely write to them @JeffRandall As you say, knowing that earlier test from 2014 might have informed the course of action you took. You needn’t make a formal complaint if you don’t want to, but you could still write and make your feelings known and ask for a chat or an explanation.

I also was diagnosed in 2015 but was never told my numbers went every year for a checkup and was told oh yeah you’re within range no tablets but never was told the numbers and even when my numbers reached 118 was sent to A&E put on medication I was still not told my numbers this seems quiet The norm not to tell you I also feel if I’ve been telling the numbers I could’ve put this Right way back in 2015
