The sister of 32-year-old Ritu Kapoor, who was allegedly killed by her physician husband Dr Awadh Kapoor by giving her insulin overdose in May 2012, has urged the state government to get the case probed by a team of officials or any other agency like CBI, which includes medical and forensic experts.
Ritu's sister Richa Tandon said she was informed by the police that they had sought the opinion from the Central Forensic Science Laboratory and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on the reports of state forensic science laboratory in connection with the case that was lodged at Hazratganj police station on February 23.
