I have mentioned that my BG monitor occasionally warns me that I may have high ketones. I’m going out to get some urine test strips and was wondering when should I do the ketone test? Obviously when I get the warning, but should it be as soon as possible after?

Yes.
If it shows high then try to drink some fluids and test again.
There will likely be some instructions in the packet.

Ketones are more associated with Type 1 @Duane62 but Type 2s can occasionally get them. Test when you get the ketone message and, if high, test again 2hrs after.
