Hi
I went through this when I cut out carbs last spring summer and others have too. The body has been used to getting a lot of fibre from grains and fruit and it takes some time to adjust. Like you it became every other day of I was lucky and it was seriously hard work when it happened. Many of us use psyllium husk and chia seeds with water (or other suitable liquid) to increase dietary fibre to improve the situation.
I no longer use them now and my body seems to have adjusted, but I do eat a few seeds every morning with my berries and yoghurt and I eat lots of nuts.

I found that using more Olive Oil helped.

Would the addition of more leafy greens help? But yes psyllium husk is what I've seen mentioned often.
