Morning,

Went for a walk today, fancied a change from my usual stay-at-home exercises.
It felt good, nice to make a change from the usual routine. Had a couple of training days regarding jobs. Part-time or full-time - it all helps. Diabetes-wise, I feel OK, however, I did deviate from my diet slightly last week. However, I see it as a release - not beating myself up over it. Weekend was OK. Concerned about my cousin though (he copes with bi-polar), however he is in denial, and when we advise him to go and take his treatment, he gets upset and goes off into a rant. I empathize, it took me a while to come to terms with my own depression. However, when he goes on a rant, it's best to let him get on with it and get it out of his system.

Looking forward to a week where I have things to do - family stuff and hopefully going to meet some friends this Friday. On another note shadow-boxing really helps deal with frustration. One can imagine punching away all your issues into a pulp.... Well that's the end of my rant🙂

Thanks for the update Rustee, I was just wondering how you were getting on. It sounds like you are doing well, respecting the diabetes, but not letting it drag you down - well done! 🙂
