Morning all

BG this morning at 7.2; due in part I hope to my stomach turning cartwheels at the moment.

At 10.30am, I'm due to have my 6 monthly mammograme to confirm (I hope) no sign that my breast cancer is recurring. Had a mammo 6 months ago & didn't quite get the everything looks as we hope clearance after my surgery in 2010 & radiotherapy 12 months ago.

They told me the "calcifications" are begnin & very common after surgery; but since my intial cancer was picked up as calcifications they wanted to give me another mammograme in 6 months to check no changes & they are in fact begnin as they ere on the side of caution. Crikey where did the last 6 months go!!!

Take care
Lynne

More hugs for you Lynne, (((())))
Keeping fingers and toes crossed.

What a relief

Thanks for all your positive vibes & support it did the trick.

I got the result I was hoping for last October.

The calcifications found are begnin as no changes; so back onto my "normal" 5 years of monitoring so another mammo in 6 months as this is when my annual mammo due.

Now counting down to the 5 year mark (4 to go) when I hope to put this in the past(if cancer ever can be) & be given an official all clear.

Back at work; suppose I aught to do some work. Must be nearly lunch-time!

Thank you have a great Easter I will now.
Lynne

I'm glad you got the all clear. I know several ladies who had the all clear and have been clear for nearly 10 years.

Was just about to say hope all goes well for you. Just seen your 2nd post to say all has gone well. Fantastic news! I'm pleased for you. 🙂
