now I'm hoping that the Dexcom will wake me up when things go strange between 130 and 6am🙂

If it gives you peace of mind and better control it will be worth its weight in gold 🙂 I'm excited for you and hoping that it proves even more useful than you expect! 🙂

Thanks Alan. I can't wait for it to arrive on Tuesday. It looks bit complicated for inserting the sensors so I'm going to ask Mark to help me to begin with. I am getting very excited and hope that if I can stop the swinging BGs then I will have more energy. I'm going to set it at night so it let's me know if I go above 10. It will mean more injections during the night but I don't care.

If you need any help then I'm sure bev or Adrienne will be able to help you out, although I don't think their children use Dexcoms but the principles are probably much the same 🙂

If you are unsure about how to insert Advanced T are always happy to come and visit. So don't waste sensors if you don't need to 🙂

thanks Sue he has offered to come out. Mark and I are going to spend tomorrow watching the Dexcom tutorial. On Tuesday I'm being sent a false sensor for practising with. Think I'm just a bit nervous because it is all so new to me. just spent the whole of the Susie walk talking about it. Do you use Dexcom?

Hi AJ,
No I don't use Dexcom it's next on my list of things to do. 🙂 I have had almost 4 years with Advanced T so know them well and can highly recomend them.
My Pump is supplied by them. Hopefully my new pump will be here next week as well. I love new gadgets :D

Let us know what your readings are like over night. My bg are very similar to yours, they drop in the early morning and are mid to high teens by the time I get up. I am so sick of it.

I would love a Cgm even if just for a couple of weeks to see what is happening.

i would like one for graham i am so tired now but is so expensive to keep , i would like to know what happen during the night for graham

Hi AJLang,

I think that once you get used to what a difference the sensors make to your diabetes management - you wont have to *justify* the cost - it will make such a difference that you will feel that they are worth every penny.🙂Bev
