Just wanted to say Hi!!

Hello all!

I just wanted to introduce myself - I have Type 2 diabetes which was diagnosed 6 years ago. I am in my 50's and am a self-employed Florist. My daughter and I run our own shop.

I am currently on slow-release Metformin and Gliclazide as well as Victoza. My blood sugars are normally relatively stable but just recently they have been a little erratic.

I have been having problems sleeping and wonder whether this has anything to do with my diabetes.

Hi Lilylady, welcome to the forum 🙂 Can you think of any explanation for the erratic levels? I often find sleeping difficult when my levels are not stable - usually if I have an infection. Is there any possibility you might be getting a cold or something? How long have you been having the erratic levels and what are your actual levels like?
