Feel like everything's going wrong and don't know what to do about it, feel like nobody around me understands a thing, just generally feeling alone and not great :(, sorry I know this does no good BUT yanno x

((((Hugs)))) Kaylz, what's happened? Or are you just generally feeling down? This can be a lonely condition to have, especially if you don't know anyone else with it, plus all the testing, measuring out food, worry about health etc is so relentless and boring xxx

A mix, stupid problems with breakfast that seem to be developing, just feeling down, knowing that the fluid is coming back in my right eye :(, I do know 2 people with it but they don't take care of themselves so aren't in the best of health, I don't mind the measuring of food and testing to be honest though xxx

We all have those days Kaylz, and if you need a good cry, just have one. Anyway we are all here for you, like you have been for us.
Thank you, the last part brought a tear to my eye, in a good way x

Aw Kaylz sorry to hear you're having an off day - do you think it was brought on by your unsuccessful attempts to test yesterday and had sore fingers? Don't fret hun as @Grannylorraine says we all have days like yours from time to time - you have been doing so well too - getting your insulin right - and better bgls - even a HS - one thing for sure Kaylz is that we on here do understand even if no-one else does.

Unfortunately some people out there don't want to understand because they can't be bothered to try to understand. If you had your leg in a plaster cast (I'm not tempting providence here) you would get loads of sympathy because they could see where you're hurting - but because diabetes can't be seen, other than when severe complications sets in, some people can't offer sympathy or help when you need it - see where I'm coming from?

Now go and make yourself a nice mug of caramel coffee and curl up on your sofa for an hour or so. I hope your spirits are more uplifted soon Kaylz. Take care hun (((hugs))) x

Sorry you are feeling this way Kaylz. Be kind to yourself. Hope your mood improves, but carry on ranting here in the meantime... we all understand 🙂

Hey...come on now Kaylz...put things in perspective...it's one of those days...we all have them...managing your diabetes daily is/can be tough...look how well you've done so far...I often look back at my early posts...can't believe I'd written them...you made a mistake...that's all & that's okay...it is allowed... inevitable at times...no damage done...no harm...it is a solitary business...diabetes...we're in charge of it...sometimes that is a scary prospect...you have support here...we do understand...put it behind you...you've done well...even giving advice to others...write this morning off...chin up (was tempted to say put your Big Girl pants on here...but would have to send you some of mine :D:D:D.)...have a good cry...firmly believe in crying when necessary...do it regularly...a great relief...no dwelling on it...you'll be fine...it's a hiccup...that's all.

Bless you Kaylz sorry to hear you feeling low, best place to get things off your chest don't suffer in silence. I hope this is a one off and you feel better soon. Not sure what the weathers doing in your neck of the woods was going to say get out for a walk, or make that caramel coffee Wirralass suggested. Take care sending you big (((hugs))) x

20170530_155014.jpg Sorry K, only just read your post about the fluid coming back in your right eye - no wonder you're feeling down - it doesn't seem that long since you had your last injection in this eye - are you due for another appointment - if not would it not be wise then to ring and ask for one say as a matter of urgency to put your mind at rest?
What problems are you having with your breakfast? I thought you had changed your morning menu and you were doing alright on it. Sounds to me that you are a little depressed and need cheering up so I'm sending you something stupid to make you laugh - if it doesn't then go and have a jolly good cry on your bed - I reckon you'll feels heaps better after getting it out of your system xxx

I have an appointment next Tuesday, I'm not too worried about it though it's just annoying, shot to 8.1 4 hours after breakfast this morning and I have no idea if I maybe dipped too low or what, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WL? you know stars are one of my obsessions and that star isn't looking too healthy to me lol xxx

It's a wet Wednesday and you're probably feeling a bit fed up generally Kaylz. Understandably your eye is a worry. I understand totally because my health is on a knife edge. Truth is you're doing brilliantly with your diabetic control despite not having people around you who get the technicalities or importance of it. You do it your way...they don't have to understand because you're doing it for yourself and owe no one an explanation.

Treat yourself to a nice coffee, a nutty protein bar and I promise tomorrow will look brighter 🙂

What the heck happened there? Two of the same stars on one post and one on its own that should have been in the above post!!! I'm losing the plot Kaylz - correction - I've lost the plot!!!haha! Xxx

Cwtch up, Kayla, I'm feeling bleurrrgch too, so I'll join you on the sad step, if you don't mind. :( I've got some tissues, just in case. Anyone know any jokes?🙄

Well your 8.1 is nowt compared to the 17.2 😱 I had early this morning but that's no consolation to you tho I do understand your number is a tad high for you. As I've often said - diabetes moves in mysterious ways🙄 Och aye! You're right about the stars lassie - sorry about that but I thought they'd make you laugh! Wrong! Xxx

In physcological terms when you say everything is going wrong its called catastrophing and they ask you to break it down b y
thinking of five things in your life that make you happy. I hated it at first but I could always find five things ( if I really thought hard.)
It does make you put things in perspective a bit. Diabetes is not nice and it can be depressing if you think you have to lead a restricted
life forever but if you try to think sufficient for each day is its own troubles it can help. We all have blue days but if you learn a bit of CBT
you can take charge of your life and find mechanisms to help you.

Hope you feel better soon! Glad you've supplied the tissues as the cat's been in my box 🙄 and the last thing I need is his hair up my nose! Sorry I don't know many jokes well not any decent ones xx
