The kind of evidence needed to make the cost-effectiveness numbers work for insurers & health systems.
What a load of twang. The nausea is usually transient and there is nothing about these drugs which means "you never again enjoy a meal". Obesity is a chronic condition in the context of an obesogenic environment and sniping at these drugs on the basis that the condition they treat recurrs if you stop taking the medication makes about as much sense as sniping at insulin. But almost everyone who uses Wegovy for weight loss regains the weight after stopping it, so presumably this means you're on it for life - a life suffering nausea and and other side effects. A life when you will never again enjoy a meal.
I've not had Wegovy but is it any different to any drug any diet? I might not be thinking too well but if like me I am fat fat fat then its down to eating . So we just have to accept that we cannot have and if this bring folks down enough to help their cardiovascular then maybe it is really good. To be honest at the moment as I say not thinking straight but there is nothing that helps obesity really. Those that don't suffer can be proud but I see them having more fun than I ever had.But almost everyone who uses Wegovy for weight loss regains the weight after stopping it, so presumably this means you're on it for life - a life suffering nausea and and other side effects. I don't think Mikey was saying that the evidence recently did say people regained the weight once they stopped it. Also I think people who took it stopped due to those side effects they mentioned. I don't believe its the quick fix for everyone nothing is. If you are type one you could die and I hardly think its the same if you stop this weight loss drug. Insulin is a life saver for millions and they take it to survive not to keep their waste trim. I am huge so not fattest just trying to explain. What a load of twang.
